Relief Valves
A1327 Relief valves are designed for installation in the vapor area of anhydrous
ammonia containers for agriculture use. Their function is to open and
relieve the pressure when it exceeds the designed working pressure of
the container.

Relief Valve Manifold
Valve Manifolds provide two 1-1/4" FPT openings for the installation of Safety
Vapor Relief Valves. A Bleeder Valve is provided below each of the two open-
ings to evacuate the chamber before removing valves for periodic inspection
and maintenance. The simple shut-off mechanism is designed so that only NH3 & SAFETY PRODUCTS
one of the openings can be closed at a time, thereby assuring the protection

Emergency Shutoff Valves
Type N550 "Snappy Joe" Emergency Shutoff Valves are designed for in-line
installation. The valves provide a means of shutting off vapor or liquid in the
event of a hose rupture or piping break at the transfer area. In this way large
scale loss of LP-gas or NH3 can be avoided. Valves are manually opened
and can be closed manually at the installed location or remotely by either
cable (standard) or optional air control mechanism.
